School Site Council (SSC)

The School Site Council (SSC) helps improve teaching and learning so all students can succeed in their core classes. The SSC focuses on using resources in a thoughtful, long-term way so the school can continue to meet students’ changing needs and help them do their best.

The SSC:

• advises the principal on the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), school budget, and monitoring of the plan.
• is made up of parents, school staff, and community members.
  • Parents are elected by the parent population. A ballot will be created based on the names of interested parents and it will distributed by the school.
• meets 5-6 times a year, with dates posted in our newsletter and at the school.
  • Meetings are both in-person and virtual via Zoom.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this interest form or contact our front office at 805-361-5800.
